Urban Outdoors, Inc. ("Outerly," "we," "our," or "us") operates the Outerly platform, including our website at outerly.co and our mobile application (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Account registration: name, email address, and password
Profile information: city, optional photo, and any other details you choose to add
Payment information: processed securely through Stripe; we do not store full card numbers
Communications: messages you send to us, including customer support inquiries
Walk participation: walk bookings, attendance records, and feedback you submit

Information We Collect Automatically
Log data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, and timestamps
Usage data: how you interact with the Service, including walk discovery and booking activity
Cookies and similar technologies: used to maintain sessions, improve the experience, and support analytics
Analytics data: we use Google Analytics to collect aggregated information about how users interact with the Service. Google Analytics may use cookies to collect information such as pages visited, time spent on the Service, and general geographic location. Stripe: payment confirmation and subscription status
If you connect via a third-party login (such as Google), we receive basic profile information from that service

Create and manage your account
Match you with walk groups and notify you of upcoming walks
Process payments and manage your subscription or single-ticket purchases

Operate the Outerly Discord and other community features

3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
With Other Participants
When you join a walk, other participants on that walk will see your first name and any pronouns you have provided. Walk details visible to your group may include the general neighborhood and time of the walk.
With Service Providers
We share information with vendors who help us operate the Service, including:
Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
Brevo — email delivery and marketing automation
Postmark — transactional email delivery (booking confirmations, receipts, account notices)
ActiveCampaign — email marketing and customer communications
Supabase — database hosting and infrastructure
Google Analytics — website and app usage analytics (see Section 1 for opt-out options)
These providers are contractually required to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us.

For Legal Reasons
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Urban Outdoors, Inc., our users, or the public.

Business Transfers
If Urban Outdoors, Inc. is acquired, merged, or undergoes a similar transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that deal. We will notify you via email or a notice on the Service before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where retention is required by law or to resolve disputes.

You can review and update your account information by logging into your account settings.

Marketing Emails
You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing email or by contacting us. You will still receive transactional messages related to your account and walks.

Cookies
Most browsers allow you to control cookies through browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some functionality of the Service.

Account Deletion
To delete your account, contact us at hello@outerly.co. We will process your request within a reasonable time.6. SecurityWe use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. No security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted over the internet. Please use a strong, unique password for your account.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
